ExaPhen is a brand of aromatic-intermediates, derived from cardanol, a natural aromatic developing within the shells of cashew-nuts.
After extraction and refining, we polymerise cardanol into high-performing polyols or modify into non-ionic and anionic surfactants.

Applications: whether PU foams, coatings, adhesives or resins, ExaPhen is a line of choice either to increase your range of raw-materials of choice to maintain typical performance and/or increasing your strength, hydrolysis and temperature stability.
ExaPhen’s chemistry is effective to improve adhesion to difficult-substrates.

Stable SupplyChain: ExaPhen is a technology with a stable-supply-chain, detached from the use of those traditional raw-materials, subjected to volatility.

Sustainability: ExaPhen is backed up by a Life Cycle-Assessment (showing the increased sustainability of the products in comparison with both std. petrol and vegetable-oil counterparts.
We have demonstrated that ExaPhen is carbon-neutral with a negative impact of -5.91 kg of CO2 per kg of product.
